Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship

The Maestro Cares Foundation Scholarship was established through a partnership between the Maestro Cares Foundation and Seton Hall University to expand educational opportunities for academically qualified students with financial need. The scholarship supports undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Business, Health Professions, or STEM who have demonstrated a commitment to serving Latino/Hispanic communities through leadership, volunteerism, and community engagement.

*Criteria: *

• Full-time undergraduate student at Seton Hall University
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Demonstrated financial need and eligibility for federal financial aid (FAFSA)

Renewable for up to four years provided the student:

• Maintains a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Remains in the approved major
• Completes at least 20 hours of volunteer service annually
• Does not fail any course
• Remains in good disciplinary standing
• Continue to meet the Foundation’s eligibility requirements.

*Student Expectations: *

• Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Remain enrolled in an approved Business, Health Professions, or STEM major (unless otherwise approved by the Foundation).
• Complete at least 20 hours of volunteer service each year.
• Remain in good disciplinary standing and comply with University policies.
• Continues to demonstrate financial need according to FASFA
• Participate in the annual renewal review to remain eligible for continued funding.
• Share a comprehensive graduation report on the impact on receiving the scholarship (in collaboration with the Unanue Institute)
