The 2025/2026 Scholarship Application cycle opens early Spring 2025.

Seton Hall University is committed to supporting your educational journey with a wide array of scholarships generously funded by our alumni and friends. Our scholarship platform is designed to make finding and applying for scholarships easier than ever.

Key Information:
• Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of factors, including essays, community service, campus involvement, work experience, financial need and GPA.
• Scholarship award amounts vary.
• Applications are accepted every spring for the following academic year. Available scholarships may change annually.
• We encourage all students in good academic standing to apply, including international students.

Please note – there are some funds for which an additional application or essay questions are not required. Students are considered for these funds using data supplied by the University’s student information system, Banner.

Application Tips:
• Highlight your unique experiences: Focus your essays and application on your extracurricular activities, volunteer work, internships, and employment.
• Maximize your opportunities: Complete every part of the application to be matched with over 400 scholarship possibilities.
• Submit a complete application: Only fully completed applications will be considered.

How to Apply:
1. Log in: Access the platform online through PirateNet using your SHU username and password.
2. Start with the General Application: This will guide you towards additional scholarship opportunities that match your profile.
3. Explore and apply: Browse all scholarships under the “OPPORTUNITIES” tab, noting their individual deadlines.
