La Motta Chair Italian Studies Endowed Scholarship

Founded by Joseph M. and Geraldine C. LaMotta to honor Dominick F. and Christine F. La Motta, this scholarship supports a second-semester sophomore through their junior and senior years, provided they are focused on Italian Studies, maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and show a strong commitment to advancing a career in Italian Studies. Final candidates will be interviewed by the Italian Studies committee.

Criteria:
-Undergraduate student enrolled at Seton Hall University
-Identified initially as a second-semester sophomore at the time of first award
-Academic concentration in Italian Studies
-Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
-Demonstrate a serious interest in pursuing a career related to Italian Studies, as evidenced by coursework and faculty review
-Continue to focus academic studies in Italian Studies

Renewable provided the student continues to meet the eligibility criteria.
