Edward D. Benattar Trial Advocacy Endowed Scholarship

Established in memory of Edward D. Benattar, Esq., this scholarship honors his dedication to the practice of law by supporting Seton Hall Law students pursuing careers in trial advocacy. The fund reflects a commitment to preparing future litigators by combining financial support with meaningful, hands-on legal experience, including opportunities to engage in real-world litigation through internship placements.

Criteria
• Must be a student enrolled in Seton Hall University School of Law
• Typically awarded to a second- or third-year law student (2L or 3L)
• Demonstrates interest in pursuing a career in trial advocacy or litigation
• Demonstrates financial need
• Demonstrates academic achievement

Additional Selection Considerations:
• Recipient may participate in a part-time internship with a litigation firm during the award period
• Selection may include review of a written statement expressing interest in trial
