McMullen Family Foundation Internship Fund

Established by the McMullen Family Foundation, this fund supports undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton Hall University as they pursue internship experiences that enhance their academic and professional development. The fund reflects a commitment to experiential learning by helping offset travel and living expenses associated with internships in the United States and abroad.

Criteria:

  • Must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in the School of Diplomacy and International Relations
  • Must have completed at least 30 undergraduate credits or 18 graduate credits
  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 (undergraduate) or 3.4 (graduate)
  • Must have secured an approved internship and provide documentation (e.g., acceptance letter)
  • Must complete an application, including an internship statement of purpose
  • Must register for and complete required internship coursework

Preference:
Financial need will be considered in awarding funds

  • Awards support travel and living expenses, not tuition
  • Awards are one-time per internship experience
  • Students must obtain faculty recommendations (two required)
  • *Students will be interviewed by the Internship Award Committee, with final approval by the Dean *
