William O. Perkins Scholarship
The William O. Perkins Scholarship was established to support deserving students admitted to the Seton Hall University School of Law who demonstrate both academic promise and financial need. The scholarship honors William O. Perkins, Jr.’s commitment to the legal profession and community service by assisting students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged as they begin their legal education.
Criteria:
-Admitted student to the Seton Hall University School of Law
-Demonstrate being economically and educationally disadvantaged
-Minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.5
-Demonstrated involvement in community and/or college organizations
-Submission of a 1–2 page personal statement describing:
-Why the applicant should be selected
-Vision for the future
-Involvement in community and/or college organizations
-Open to day and evening law students
-Award applicable to Fall, Spring, and Summer sessions
