Angelo A Rancatti Jr Endowment
The Angelo A. Rancatti, Jr. (’63, ’68) Endowed Scholarship was established to support students in the College of Arts and Sciences who are pursuing studies in Italian language or Italian Studies. The scholarship reflects the donor’s commitment to promoting the study of Italian language, culture, and the performing arts while assisting students with financial need and strong academic achievement.
Criteria-Recipients must:
• Be enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences
• Demonstrate financial need
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Be pursuing coursework in Italian Language and/or Italian Studies
Preference will be given to a student whose career goals include:
• Teaching Italian or Modern Languages
• Pursuing a professional career in opera or classical music
• Pursuing an advanced degree in Italian language or Italian Studies
Additional provision:
• Scholarship funds may be used to support study abroad experiences that enhance the student’s appreciation of Italian history and culture.
