Bruce/Carol Tomason Int'l Endowment Scholarship

Established by Bruce and Carol Tomason, the Bruce and Carol Tomason International Scholars Endowed Scholarship supports Seton Hall students who demonstrate financial need and are committed to broadening their horizons through international study. Each year, up to five Tomason Scholars receive awards to help cover tuition, travel, or lodging costs related to their semester abroad. Additional funding is available for students who engage in service projects while studying overseas. Through this scholarship, the Tomasons encourage students to explore the world, embrace new cultures, and become global servant leaders.

To be considered for the Bruce and Carol Tomason International Scholars Endowed Scholarship, students must:

• Be enrolled as a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student at Seton Hall University.
• Demonstrate financial need through a completed FAFSA.
• Plan to study abroad for at least one semester through Seton Hall or an approved program.
• Submit a short essay describing goals for the international experience.
• (Optional) Participate in a service project while studying abroad for additional funding consideration.

Awards: Up to five students will receive about $2,500 each for tuition or travel abroad. Two additional students engaged in service abroad will share $10,000 in extra funding.
