The 2026–2027 Academic Year Scholarship Application cycle opens in March 2026.

Before you apply, take time to carefully review all eligibility criteria. Apply only for scholarships for which you fully meet the requirements.

Key Information:
• Scholarships are awarded based on essays, service, involvement, work experience, financial need, and GPA.
• Award amounts vary. Final award amounts are determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
• Applications open each spring for the following academic year.
• All students in good academic standing—including international students—are encouraged to apply.

How to Apply:
1. Log in through PirateNet using your SHU username and password.
2. Complete the General Application to be connected with relevant scholarship opportunities.
3. Explore additional scholarships under the OPPORTUNITIES tab and note individual deadlines.

Scholarship offers will be communicated through BAM beginning in August as Financial Aid completes its packaging process.
